Know How

Syrostone is an agglomerate of selected marble aggregates of sizes between 0 and 10 mm. The screened sizes form a homogenous that is bound by a Portland white cement. Iron oxide pigments color the white cement with the matching colors of the aggregates. The cement additives used are of a fluidifying nature, which enable the binding force of the cement to be used to its maximun, with little water. The mix is poured to a mould of 3*1.25*1.25 m while being subjected to a vibration up to 75 herz the air bubbles free compacted block of 2.45 density remains 24 hours before demoulding and moving it to a pool where it remains submerged for three days. After three weeks of curing time the block will be cut into slabs of 3*1.25 m and various chosen thick nesses. The is are will be processed through an automatic line, 1.0 calibrated, polished or polished and bush hammerd and cut to required size as a final product.
